The past 4 months have been great, work wise but unmanaged health routine but because my job then made me physically active, it didn’t matter and I still was able to maintain/lose weight. 3 months prior that wasn’t great work wise but I was able to start on my Fitjourn Volume No. 1 and learned a lot about myself. Now I’m entering a new chapter in my life and I don’t want to lose any progress I’ve made considering this new chapter would render me sedentary again. So we gotta manage this and move move move. Not just physically but mentally, emotionally, spiritually and geographically as well :D
Each day now will start with a bottle of water and 20-30 minutes yoga. And that’s before breakfast.
So many major shit has happened the past month. But one of the highlights is this ONE MONTH old cough. I was getting better last week with a few phlegm here and there but now I’m back to coughing like a donkey with this incessant itchy throat! Gaaah! Gonna have to take antibiotics now and that won’t be pretty T-T
Friday: Nada. After cleaning my comp’s heatsink last night, stuff seemed to slow down big time. Haven’t had sleep and my cough has gotten a lot worse which now pushes my recovery time longer for my blood test and that made my mum pissed and that made me all the more pissed so I just went to bed praying my computer will just fix itself.
Saturday: Yuck day during training. Went home straight away only to learn that the planets have aligned for me to be in the exact place and time. I was walking towards the shuttle and as I paid the conductor I heard the driver ask for change from the cash register because of this old guy. I went in straight the shuttle but eyed the driver and saw him talking to this old man. In a heartbeat I stepped out of the shuttle and gave him everything I had left, a mere dollar and fifty cents which I was saving for my next training day. Then I bid him farewell, so did the driver and I went back in thinking what else could I have done. I was kinda thinking getting the other passengers to help out as well but by the time I’ve made up my mind, the old guy was gone but not long before the driver went back to him and gave him more change. I do pray the old guy has reached home now. It definitely breaks my heart to meet people like the old guy but the driver is definitely the hero here. Not even me. He had way less than me yet he still had all the willingness to help him out.
Oh yea got home, got more sick so just decided to rest early as I do have today as a break and church day :)
34-35 | Saturday-Sunday: I think I worked out at least once this weekend. I don’t remember much because…
36 | Monday: I went get my tax docs updated, renewed my driver’s license, got my grades, and went all out production house with my bestie raping their office printer + around 10 km of walking in the rain, balancing myself on my slippery slippers. Just walking till my feet died.
37 | Tuesday: Went to get a police clearance for my new job, basically stood in line for freakin 5 hours! At the end of it, I literally thought I won’t make it back home with my splitting headache, sore shoulders from my bags and sore feet and everything.
38 | Wednesday: Tried recovering from all that has happened only to find myself emotionally and mentally raped again. Not getting into details with that.
39 | Thursday: I started my second job today, it was half amazing, half yuck. I loved my new girl teammates and our awesome trainer. The boys in my team are eck. They’re all freaking too forward and they have no license to be. I’m also suffering from another bout of chronic coughing only then to be told that I have to redo my blood test and the bruise on my arm where they took my blood hasn’t even healed yet and it’s been a week already. Basically when I did the blood test last week, my white blood cells were going haywire preparing for this cough fit I have now. So that raised a red flag with my recruiters and to just verify if it’s just my cough, I have to wait till I get better to retake the blood test, expenses I have to shoulder now with money I don’t have haha. Just because of a simple cough lol. Well let’s just hope it’s just really my cough. Right now I’m blogging about this while contemplating if I should take my computer apart to clean my processor’s heatsink because it’s overheating badly. I am scared I might break it and I still have shit to finish tonight :|
As promised, I did:
